Asparagus Shrimp Angel Hair Pasta: A Quick Delight!

A delicious and quick recipe that perfectly combines asparagus, shrimp, and angel hair pasta.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces angel hair pasta
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add asparagus and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and shrimp back to the skillet, tossing to combine.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes.
  • Substitute shrimp with chicken if desired.
