  • 1 pound gnocchi
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  2. In the same pot, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in the gnocchi and cook until they float.
  5. Reduce heat and stir in the cream and cheddar until melted.
  6. Season with thyme, salt, and pepper.
  7. Top with crumbled bacon before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes.
  • Use turkey bacon for a healthier option.
