  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a doughnut pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then gently fold in the blueberries.
  5. Spoon the batter into the doughnut pan and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool before removing from the pan.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a dash of nutmeg.
