  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a doughnut pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the egg, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla until combined.
  4. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  6. Pour the batter into the doughnut pan, filling each cavity about halfway.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before removing from the pan.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can sprinkle powdered sugar on top before serving.
  • These doughnuts are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for a couple of days.
