- 2 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup tzatziki sauce
- 1 cup sliced cucumbers
- 1 cup sliced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- Season the beef roast with garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place the seasoned beef in the slow cooker or Instant Pot.
- Add beef broth to the pot.
- If using a slow cooker, cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours. For the Instant Pot, cook on high pressure for 60 minutes and allow natural release.
- Once cooked, shred the beef with two forks.
- Serve on pita bread with tzatziki, cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions.
