  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, cocoa powder, sugar, and vegetable oil.
  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
