  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter until smooth.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt, then gradually add to the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  6. Drop tablespoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
  8. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
