Chicken Kofta with Yogurt Sauce

  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cayenne, parsley, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Form the mixture into small, elongated kofta shapes.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the kofta until browned and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare the yogurt sauce by combining yogurt, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
  5. Serve the kofta warm with the yogurt sauce on the side.
