  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth.
  3. Add chicken broth and milk slowly, stirring continuously until thickened.
  4. Stir in chicken, turkey bacon, peas, carrots, and seasonings. Mix well.
  5. Pour filling into pie crust.
  6. Cover with top crust, seal edges, and cut slits for steam.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until crust is golden brown.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add more spices or herbs to the mixture.
