Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the creamed mixture, beating well.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the diced apples.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  8. Prepare the crumb topping by mixing flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon with butter until crumbly, then sprinkle on top of the batter.
