  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pastry cream
  • 1 cup chocolate ganache

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract. Combine wet and dry ingredients.
  4. Spoon the batter into the cupcake liners, filling them 2/3 full.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes, then cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, fill cupcakes with pastry cream using a piping bag.
  7. Top with chocolate ganache.

Notes

  • Let the ganache cool slightly before pouring it over the cupcakes to achieve a smooth finish.
