Easy Halloween food ideas : Spooky Deviled Eggs

A fun and spooky twist on a classic appetizer, these Spooky Deviled Eggs are perfect for Halloween gatherings!

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 slices of black olive
  • 1 carrot (cut into small triangles)

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot and covering them with water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Cool the eggs in ice water, then peel and cut in half lengthwise.
  3. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fill each egg white half with the yolk mixture.
  5. Cook turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble it on top of the filled eggs.
  6. Use black olives and carrot triangles to create spooky eyes and fangs.

Notes

  • For extra creaminess, adjust the mayonnaise to taste.
  • Feel free to substitute regular bacon for a different flavor.
