- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 4 sub rolls
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 25 minutes until cooked through.
- While the meatballs are baking, cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy.
- In a pot, heat the marinara sauce.
- Assemble the subs: place meatballs in the sub rolls, top with marinara sauce, turkey bacon, and mozzarella cheese.
- Return the assembled subs to the oven for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
