  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes until cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy.
  6. In a pot, heat the marinara sauce.
  7. Assemble the subs: place meatballs in the sub rolls, top with marinara sauce, turkey bacon, and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Return the assembled subs to the oven for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add Italian seasoning to the meatball mixture.
  • These subs can be served with a side salad for a complete meal.
