  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter until it turns golden brown and fragrant. Let it cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar and granulated sugar. Add the brown butter and mix until smooth.
  4. Stir in the pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla until combined.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
