- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and softened butter until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time.
- In another bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture until well combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Drop by spoonfuls onto a lined baking sheet.

- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
