  • 1 pound gnocchi
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup kale, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the turkey bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy. Remove and chop into pieces.
  2. In the same pot, add the onion and garlic and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Add the gnocchi and cook according to package instructions.
  5. Stir in the kale, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning. Cook until the kale is wilted.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, and stir in the chopped turkey bacon just before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon and use vegetable broth.
  • Serve with crusty bread for a complete meal.
