Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Potatoes

These garlic butter steak bites and potatoes are the perfect combination of flavors and textures, making for a delicious comfort food dish.

  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1 pound baby potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and halve the baby potatoes, then place them on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast for about 20 minutes.
  3. While the potatoes are roasting, cut the steak into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and add the steak. Sear for about 2-3 minutes until browned.
  5. Add the garlic and rosemary, then cook for another minute until fragrant.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and add the remaining butter, stirring until melted.
  7. Serve the steak bites with the roasted potatoes and drizzle any remaining garlic butter on top.

Notes

  • Feel free to add vegetables like broccoli or asparagus to the roasting pan for a complete meal.
  • Use more or less garlic according to your preference.
