Healthy Greek Turkey Meatballs With Tzatziki

These healthy Greek turkey meatballs are packed with flavor and paired with a refreshing tzatziki sauce.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, oregano, thyme, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and browned.
  5. To make the tzatziki sauce, mix Greek yogurt, diced cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt.
  6. Serve the meatballs with the tzatziki sauce on the side.
