Hot Fudge Sundae Brownie Cheesecake

A decadent dessert combining the flavors of hot fudge, brownie, and cheesecake.

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce
  • 1/2 cup toasted nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine the sugars, cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Mix in the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until well blended.
  4. Pour half of the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. While the brownies bake, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Remove brownies from oven, spread cream cheese mixture on top, then pour remaining brownie batter over.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes.
  8. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
  9. Before serving, top with hot fudge sauce and toasted nuts if desired.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate cocoa powder.
  • Serve warm with ice cream for an indulgent treat.
