  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced jalapeños
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 12 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, cream cheese, jalapeños, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  2. Take a tortilla and fill it with a few tablespoons of the chicken mixture.
  3. Roll the tortilla tightly and place seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Fry the taquitos for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
