This creamy pumpkin soup is a delightful dish that combines the richness of pumpkin with the savory flavor of turkey bacon.

  • 4 cups pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté the onions and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add the pumpkin puree, chicken broth, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  4. Simmer for 15 minutes. Add the heavy cream and blend until smooth.
