  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
  • 1/4 cup ice water
  • 1 cup cooked and shredded chicken
  • 1 cup vegetables, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and sugar.
  2. Add the cubed butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in the ice water, mixing until the dough comes together.
  4. Roll out the dough and cut it into circles.
  5. Mix the chicken, vegetables, and olive oil in a bowl.
  6. Place filling on half of each dough circle, fold over, and seal the edges.
  7. Brush with beaten egg.
  8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
