  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by greasing it lightly.
  3. Peel and thinly slice the sweet potatoes.
  4. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then chop it into small pieces.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Layer half of the sweet potatoes in the baking dish, followed by half of the bacon, and pour half of the cream mixture over it.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, bacon, and cream.
  8. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
