  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the cake batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the batter, then layer with chopped strawberries, coconut, and nuts.
  6. Top with the remaining cake batter.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.
